Human Trafficking Letter campaign
Greetings from Minnesota!
I am writing to share with you a great opportunity to “Practice Justice” along with the youth from Ohio who participated in the Cherish Our Children workshops at the ELCA Youth Gathering.
After learning about the trafficking of children, we invited all workshop participants (representing 19 states) to write letters to their legislators and governors, encouraging them to pass and implement “safe harbor” laws on behalf of trafficked children.
I have attached a state ratings map as well as information about Ohio laws specifically, which includes the sample letter for the youth from Ohio.
I invite you to join the youth from your state in making your voice for children heard by writing a letter yourself.
