The Northwestern Ohio Synod is one of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America’s sixty-five synods. Our role is to: help unite the work of congregations in our area, provide support for congregational ministry, outreach and mission, provide theological and pastoral leadership to rostered leaders, and to guide pastoral and other staff candidates through the call process.
