If so, the Ethnic Mission Strategy Team of the Northwestern Ohio Synod would like to invite you to attend Llamando la comunidad - Calling the Community.

Join us February 21, 2009 at 9:00AM at First Lutheran Church in Findlay.

Leading the event will be the Rev. Reuben Duran from the ELCA office for Evangelical Outreach and Congregational Ministry. Pastor Duran has extensive experiences in ministry among Latinos. He has experise in helping congregations develop strategies for opening themselves up for ministry to people of non-traditional Lutheran cultures. The February 21 event will include worship, presentations and community resources. The registration cost will also include lunch. There will be opportunities to network with others who have a commitment to having their congregations and ministry reflect the racial, cultural, and economic diversity of the community in which it is located.
